So In case you are just joining College Girl Livin', we have been doing the February Fitness Challenge!! But like many people who work out to lose weight or even tone, sometimes it's just hard and not seeing results makes it even harder. For us girls we get bloated and sometimes the bloat just sits there and looks like all this work we're doing is not working at all! Well I came across this detox that promises 5 pounds of water weight and bloat to be gone by the end of the week! I know it sounds to good to be true, but it comes from Jillian Michaels and well you've seen her body!

After hearing that it came from a celebrity trainer though I still wanted proof that this works on regular people who don't dedicate every waking moment in the gym. After going through quite a few before and after stories the people have spoken, and yes this works! Now this is the first thing I am bringing to you guys that I myself haven't tried. Just like our February Fitness challenges, I try them and do them along with you guys. So started next week I will be starting this along with the rest of our February Fitness challenge! However the challenge will slow down as far as the videos, but please feel free to go back and find old videos that we have done before. Next week we will be doing a different kind of challenge to keep things new. Now on to the recipe that I am sure you have been waiting for, The Jillian Michaels 5 pounds in 7 days detox drink!

These simple ingredients will help you drop 5 pounds in 7 days! I know I'm just as shocked as you are. But remember it's water weight and bloating that will be dropped not actual fat, once you stop drinking this for a week or more you will notice the water weight will reappear. That's why it is important to keep up with our fitness challenge to keep toning!
Get sixteen (16)-ounces of distilled or pure water
* Add one (1) Tablespoon (Tbsp) of SUGAR-FREE Cranberry Juice
* Add one (1) Dandelion Root Tea Bag (You can find these at Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s or any of the the health food stores, if neither of these are nearby)
* Add two (2) Tablespoons (Tbsp) of Lemon Juice
Directions: You must drink the sixteen (16)-ounces each and every day for seven (7) days.
Now the original recipe calls for 60 ounces of distilled water and to drink 60 ounces of the mixture a day but a lot of people are saying that 16 ounces of this actually works better. It is completely up to you which one you do, me personally I am going to do both and see which one works better for me! Remember I am not a trained nutritionist or trainer so if you want or need to contact your doctor before starting any of this, please do so! And check College Girl Livin' daily for more tips like this!!
