This recipe has fallen into my lap at the right time. It has been said that this helps cure insomnia, and this is right up my ally. Since my freshman year of college I have developed insomnia and I hate it! This iced tea has also been said to cure or help headaches/migraines, stomach issues, and stress! I'll say this is worth a try for sure, especially for college students!
Lavender Iced Tea:
6 tea bags
1 teaspoon of lavender
Directions:
- Bring water to a boil on the stove in a pot
- Add tea bags and Lavender to the water and let steep for 5 minutes
- Remove the tea bags
- If you would like to remove the lavender you can pour the tea through a strainer
- Serve over ice, pour the remaining tea in a pitcher and chill for another time
If the tea is not to your taste you can add honey!
