Slumber Party Time!!!

As stressful as college and just life is, a good slumber party can make you feel just like a little kid. Sometimes you just need a good girl’s night in talking about guys, stuffing your face with sweets, and drinking! It’s funny, no matter how old you get doesn’t a slumber party always sounds fun? So sit back get you fuzzy slippers and onesies on, and get ready for some fun ideas!

Speaking of onesies, which seems to be a new trend for adult sleepwear, are so cute now and they come in so many styles. A slumber party is the best place to bust those babies out and really act like a kid. This Christmas I brought everyone in my family one, however only me and my niece were cool enough to rock one (hater’s gonna hate). Now since the onesie is already out and on you, you have to have a sleeping bag to really bring it home. You have to get into the spirit people, if you’re rocking the onesie, a sleeping bag adds a nice touch.

What’s a slumber party without games though? Even if you don’t like the idea of the onesie or sleeping bag you have to like the games. If you don’t

then why are you bringing down someone else’s sleep over! Plus you have to have something to do while the sweets and other treats are baking. I love team games and trivia games, come on I’m a college student gotta keep the mind fresh, so games like Taboo and Trivia Crack are a must if you are like me in the gaming department.

If you have never played Trivia Crack as a team, or at all, let me explain. Two people at the slumber party must download the app, then you can request to play each other. Once the requests are accepted start by having one person answer the first question, if they get it right pass the phone or tablet to the next team mate and continue until the first team gets an answer wrong then it’s the next teams turn.

Now if you want to up the stakes try this, foe each wrong answer the person or team who answered it wrong takes a round of shots! If this drinking game sounds fun go check out the list of other drinking games for the night!

Now after all that stuffing your face and game playing, it’s beauty time! To me it’s just not a girl’s night without doing hair, facials, and nails. A slumber party is the perfect time to try all those cute ideas we all see on Facebook. Besides the drinking games, beauty time if my favorite especially doing nails.

After all this fun at the end of the night what’s a better way to wind down than watching movies. Usually when girls get together they put in The Notebook or Titanic and get all emotional. Be unique and do a horror or comedy marathon, stay away from movies that make you want to call your old 3rd grade boyfriend and apologize for not unfreezing him during a game of freeze tag 15 years ago!
