The best part of a wedding is seeing what the bride is wearing, that is also probably the most stressful part for the bride. Dresses go in and out of style and then they have to fit the theme of the wedding. You wouldn't have a traditional church wedding and show up wearing a powder blue crop top wedding dress, or would you? I just love wedding gown shopping, to see the new styles and the whole look come together with accessories! Every year there are new trends for dresses, from the style, color, cut, and material it can be hard to keep up. Hopefully this article will help you make a choice between all the new trendy gowns for 2015!

1. Off The Shoulder

This year the off the shoulder look will be very popular. It goes with the classic beauty theme a lot of brides are leaning towards. The off the shoulder look plays up with the vintage look. This is traditional but also mixed with new style.

2. Colorful Brides

With brides setting their color schemes to all white, they have to find a way to stand out. Brides are opting to be the only one wearing color, and this a trend I think will stick around. With more and more non-traditional wedding themes happening a bride wearing a colorful gown will be the new normal! Brides are working their way into bold colors with pale and soft pinks and other muted colors. It won't be long before a bright orange gown is a regular staple at bridal shops!

These colorful dresses make the bride stick out regardless of what the wedding party is wearing. The designs, fabics, and colors alone set the bride apart and make her the center of attention, as she should be.

3. Tulle Skirts

Tulle is in overload for bridal dresses lately. These big puffy skirts are filled with yards and yards of tulle, almost giving the bride a ballerina look. If you are going for the princess theme for your wedding the tulle skirt look is for you.

The tulle skirts offer so much movement in a dress. It is a dramatic statement all by itself and can be infused into a ball gown or trumpet fitted dress. Either design makes a statement for the bride, and looks beautiful in pictures!

4. Capes for the Bride

Capes on a the dress can make a dress a true show stopper! The style pictured above is a divas dream and will make sure that all eye and cameras are on her. I feel like capes can be worn for any season wedding, but especially a fall and winter wedding. The cape offers warmth in the cold months for a wedding with the bride giving up style and having to wear those weird looking crop jackets that can take away from the gown.

This is the shortened version of the cape style, the short version is more of a vintage look while the long version is meant for a dramatic look. I could picture the shortened cape on a vintage tea length wedding dress with a pill box short veil!

5. Collars on the Bride

I have never been a fan of wedding dresses with collars until I saw the newer styles! This is showing you can mix sexy with tradition, and the picture above would be my dream collared gown. A lot of brides are using the top portion of the gown to switch up the material to really draw your eye to the neck line. Having a collared wedding gown means little to no jewelry, the collar does the work of drawing the eye up.

6. Vintage Glam From The 30's

Vintage is a look and style that only some brides used to go for. Now it is making a strong come back with a lot more brides. We all know the women from the 30's had a style and beauty that was unique and these dresses are bringing that style back. With a mixture of glitz and glam and tightly fitted dresses, the bride looks like she has stepped off the red carpet her self! The low neck line and tight fitting on the bottom offer a very sexy silhouette.

7. Out Of The Bridal Box

As I said, a lot of brides and couples are going the non traditional route with their weddings. I love seeing couples turn out a unique wedding with things no has seen or has been bold enough to do! These dresses are for he bold bride that wants to be set apart not only from her wedding party, but from others weddings! Crop top wedding gowns and rompers are making their way into wedding wear.

If you are a bold bride these looks are for you. A crop top wdding dress is a good option for an outdoor wedding. The crop top dress can actually be worn as one piece for the ceremony and disconnected for the reception. While the romper may be the outfit for an elopement or reception.
